SPATIAL CONSTELLATION

Below is V1 of my spatial constellation:

Open in Google Drive

It’s arranged in 3 layers. Layer 1 are the nodes in black with white letters. Layer 2 are the nodes in white with a black outline. Layer 3 are the nodes in white with grey outline.

Next step will be to connect the various subnodes (layers 2 and 3) together with color coded lines. After that I would like to add text for each level 2 node explaining the level 3 subnodes that is has.

From there, I would like to try coding it to make it a more interactive experience instead of a static picture.

ENACTMENT: DUAL SPATIAL PERFORMANCE

In my speculative narrative, this diagram “exists” in two locations simultaneously, producing opposite meanings through spatial context alone.

Inside Daedalus Studios’ Poblenou office, it hangs on the main wall. Investors and journalists see it as proof of sophisticated design thinking, evidence that the company understands the full complexity of programmable perception.

Projected onto the building’s exterior at night by activists, the same diagram becomes public evidence. Nothing changes except location and the lines between nodes. Passersby now see regulatory gaps, surveillance pathways, venture capital control, and bodies converted into data streams.

The dual enactment reveals a problem: transparency doesn’t guarantee accountability. Daedalus can claim rigorous systems thinking. Activists can show the apparatus of extraction. Same information, opposite interpretations depending on the context it’s presented.

The intervention asks: should this infrastructure be visible only to investors and engineers, or to everyone whose body might interface with it? By making corporate documentation public, the projection challenges who has the right to understand these systems before consenting to use them.
